Naomi Watts Opens Up For the First Time About Split From Liev Schreiber

Naomi Watts and Liev Schreiber announced their separation back in September, and now the actress is speaking out about the whole ordeal. The Glass Castle star opened up about the split to Australia's The Daily Telegraph on Saturday, saying, "I feel I'm in a good place in my life and I want to make sure my kids are healthy, my kids are happy, and things are going to go well. Those are my hopes for me and for all of us." She continued, "I feel, whether you're famous or not, transitions are scary for anybody. I feel like change is always scary, but that's only because transition for anyone is new and you wonder how things are going to go."

Naomi and Liev had been together since 2005 but never married. The pair shares sons Alexander (who goes by Sasha) and Samuel, and Liev has yet to comment on their breakup.
