Entourage TV Show Easter Eggs That Made It Into the Movie

This week, we finally catch up with the guys of Entourage, but this time, they're on the big screen. The movie picks up several months after the end of the TV series, and that proximity means there are still lots of links to the original show. Yes, everything is bigger for the movies, but these are still the guys you know and love, and if you were a fan of the show, these Easter eggs were made for you to recognize.

The Original Car

Not only do the movie's opening credits employ the TV show's iconic theme song ("Superhero" by Jane's Addiction), but the car the boys drive in the TV credits — a 1965 Lincoln Continental — is also back in play during the movie. You don't forget those suicide doors!

Billy Walsh

Of Entourage's guest stars, one of the most memorable characters is indie director Billy Walsh (Rhys Coiro). Billy is back for the movie as an unofficial part of the entourage, still referring to E as "Suit."

Sbarro

The boys' humble New York beginnings come up often on the TV series, particularly E's prior work experience: being a manager at Sbarro. Ari never lets Eric forget it, and neither does Piers Morgan. In an interview, Morgan reveals a hilarious picture of E on the job, slinging pizza dough.

Jessica Alba's Cameo

One of the many cameos in the movie comes from Jessica Alba. Alba goes back far in Entourage mythology, because she was Vince's costar in his first big movie, Head On.

The Mentos Commercial

In a season two episode, Vince reveals that the commercial that made him famous was a Mentos ad. This tidbit comes back up when Ari tells Piers Morgan about said Mentos ad — and then the commercial airs. It's so ridiculous it could have been an actual Mentos commercial.

Mark Wahlberg

If you are any kind of Entourage fan, you know that Mark Wahlberg produced the TV series, and it's based on his own friends and experiences becoming a star. His real-life entourage made a cameo on the TV series, and Wahlberg and the gang also pop up in the movie.

Vince's Very Short Marriage

The final episode of Entourage shows Vince turning over a new leaf and getting engaged to beautiful journalist Sophia (Alice Eve). Though Vince is single in the movie, his marriage is addressed . . . and ends up as a celebrity gossip footnote.

Drama's Viking Quest Days

Johnny Drama's far and away most well-known role has always been on the cult favorite TV series Viking Quest, which spawns his own personal catchphrase, "Victory!" Not only is the TV series referenced a lot in the movie, but his catchphrase also comes into play in an important moment in the film.
