Carey Mulligan Sings in the First Trailer For Far From the Madding Crowd

Not only is Carey Mulligan starring in the big-screen version of Far From the Madding Crowd, but she's also lending her pipes to it. The first trailer for the adaptation of Thomas Hardy's 1874 romance novel features Mulligan singing a beautiful rendition of "Let No Man Steal Your Thyme." It's wonderful, and the trailer itself is very intriguing. It's the story of Bathsheba Everdene (Mulligan) and her three suitors. She's in love with Gabriel (Matthias Schoenaerts), but the wealthy William (Michael Sheen) and a sergeant (Tom Sturridge) also want her. Juno Temple also stars, though you won't see her in the trailer. This is just one of the many books to read before they become movies, but if you prefer, you can just see the film when it's released on May 1.
