George Clooney was hard at work on the set of his film The American outside of Rome on Wednesday. He was bright-eyed and joking around with the crew despite a fun night out the evening before, when he enjoyed a date with girlfriend Elisabetta. It looks like George is spending Thanksgiving in his adopted Italian homeland, but he has loved ones around to keep him company during the holiday.

Up in the Air's release date was moved back to December 4 from November 13 so as not to compete with George's Men Who Stare at Goats, which comes out November 6.
