Kate Hudson and Ryder had their arms full of festive supplies during a walk in New Orleans on Saturday. Mardi Gras doesn't actually start until next week, but the city got to start celebrating early thanks to their historic Super Bowl win yesterday! While Kate and Ryder were in Saints' territory, her ex Alex Rodriguez was in Miami for the big game where he was spotted getting cozy with Cameron Diaz at a pre-party on Friday.

Kate Hudson clutched her Smartwater and laughed between takes on the New Orleans set of Earthbound, only this time she was joined by a pint-sized costar instead of hot Gael Garcia Bernal. The city must be buzzing leading up to this weekend's Super Bowl — the first the NO Saints have ever competed in! She's in Louisiana filming Earthbound with costar Gael Garcia Bernal, which kept her from being at Sundance — though judging from the harsh reception The Killer Inside Me received at the festival, her absence might have been for the best.

Kate Hudson didn't let a messy face stop her from smiling yesterday on the New Orleans set of Earthbound with Gael Garcia Bernal. She's back to working on her film after a quick trip to LA for Saturday's SAG Awards, though she opted out of joining her costars in The Killer Inside Me, Jessica Alba and Casey Affleck, for their premiere at Sundance. Gael's BFF Diego Luna is also off making the rounds in Park City, but Mr. Garcia Bernal and Kate seem to be having some fun of their own between scenes down South.

The SAG Awards took over LA's Shine Auditorium Saturday night to honor the year's best acting. Once the posing on the red carpet was finished, the show started right off with the announcement of Alec Baldwin's win in the category of Outstanding Performance in a Comedy Series. His costar Tina Fey also took home an Actor statue for her role in 30 Rock, bounding onto the stage with energy despite having had just two hours sleep the evening before.

A few actresses picked gowns that popped against the red carpet, with Diane Kruger leading the way as your pick for best dressed in a Jason Wu she said they created together.
