Apple's Next Big Announcements Have Leaked

This September is business as usual for Apple, as the company is expected to make its annual new iPhone announcement tomorrow, Sept. 9. However, current rumors suggest that not only will the new iPhone 6S be unveiled, but so will a number of other products such as new iPads and the long-awaited next generation of Apple TV. We've got a complete breakdown of everything you can hope to see come out of tomorrow's event.

  • iPhone 6S and 6S Plus — The newest addition to the iPhone family isn't going to be a complete revamp of current iPhones, but it should arrive with a number of internal improvements like a camera with 12 megapixels, force-touch technology, a longer battery life, and a model that comes in rose gold. And for those who were part of "Bendgate" last time, the iPhone 6S can reportedly withstand more pressure. There are also rumors that an iPhone 6S Plus will be released but with not too many specific details on what the key differences between the two phones could be.
  • Apple TV — It's been a long time coming and finally, a new Apple TV should arrive on Wednesday. This version of Apple TV reportedly comes with an array of improvements, like operating at a much faster speed and a new remote designed with motion sensitivity so you can play games. It will also include Siri and the App Store. Most notably, rumors suggest that it will contain Universal Search, a feature where you can search for any TV show or movie and see results from different apps. It should retail for $149.
  • More iPads — The iPad Pro is expected to be the next generation of iPads for Apple. It will reportedly have a 2732 x 2048 display and include a force-touch screen and a stylus. But if you're looking for just a simple upgrade, the iPad Mini 4 might be what you want. It should be thinner with an 8-megapixel camera and include either an A8 or A9 chip for a faster processor that can support Split View.
  • Release Dates — After debuting iOS 9, Watch OS2, and OS X El Capitan at WWDC in June, Apple will most likely either state the release dates for these upgrades or pull a surprise and make them available tomorrow. Each update is pretty exciting, especially Apple's latest operating system, iOS 9, which comes with a slew of new features like longer battery life, an improved Siri, a News app, and a Maps app that supports public transportation. As for Apple Watch users, the Watch OS 2 might make the watch even more worth owning. New watch faces will be available, like a Time Travel feature to see your calendar over a length of time, and you can even use it as an alarm clock. OS X El Capitan is just as exciting, with the cool new Split View feature, a better Spotlight, and several other upgrades to enhance your Mac experience.
