How to Turn Off Annoying YouTube Music Video Ads

Instead of streaming something on Spotify, many music-lovers head to YouTube to listen to their favorite tunes. The video site has caught onto the trend and is now launching its own music-streaming service called YouTube Music Key. After six months of free access, users can stream high-quality versions of full albums for $8 per month without having to sit through ads. Plus, you'll be able to play YouTube's music offline. It's launching in beta for the web and iOS and Android apps next week. Want in? Ask for an invite at youtube.com/musickey.

YouTube Music Key joins the many streaming services already available, including Spotify, Rdio, and Beats Music. What do you think about Google's decision to turn YouTube into a music subscription platform? Would you pay $8 per month to turn off ads?
