The actress seriously went for it by chopping off her waist-length hair for a textured lob. She also said buh-bye to her curtain bangs by parting them to the side. This edgy look came courtesy of Nine Zero One's Riawna Capri, Amber Maynard Bolt, and Anthony Hoiguin.
Since she first began acting, Jessica Chastain has had a near-ubiquitous hairstyle: long, dramatic, Veronica Lake-esque curls. This Summer, the Molly's Game star went rogue with a choppy layered bob done by Renato Campora. The dramatic change is capital-B "big" — and we love it.
In a paparazzi-style Yeezy photo shoot, Kim Kardashian went monochromatic navy, from her thigh-high boots to her waist-length hair. Stylist Chris Appleton again was the whiz behind this blue-black coloring (does he get any sleep?).
Fans of Zayn Malik's relationship with ex Gigi Hadid hoped that the lilac-haired singer's new color was a hint the pair might be back together. The usually ponytail-ed singer let down her hair on the cover of Vogue UK and made us all do a collective double take. We hardly recognized Ariana Grande through her chestnut-blond make-under. As one fan wrote on Twitter of the look (courtesy of longtime stylist Appleton), "Someone revive me. Hand me oxygen. She looks amazing." Agreed.
Cardi B proved that she is not a regular expectant mother, but a cool one, with a hip-length unicorn wig courtesy of stylist Cliff V Mir. The timing of this switcheroo was even more poignant because it aligned with early June, which is Pride Month.
The model brought rose gold to the Cannes red carpet, perfectly pairing it with Veronica Lake-esque curls and matte blush lipstick. Iskra Lawrence used the at-home box dye L'Oréal Paris UK Preference Infinia in Rose Gold 8.23 to achieve the color, which she wrote on Instagram would last "for about a month."
Selena Gomez committed to the theme of her 1960s-inspired "Back to You" music video, from her white tennis shoes to her blunt bob and bangs. As her stylist Danielle Prianotold POPSUGAR, "Keep in mind that bangs are a look." It totally works in this case.
Summer forecast, according to Gomez and Mila Kunis's heads: bangs are back. The actress enlisted Chad Wood to make the vampy chop, pairing it with a dramatic cat eye and green glitter shadow.
