Diipa Büller-Khosla is a global fashion and beauty influencer and the founder of Indē Wild, an Ayurvedic-based beauty brand. She learned everything there is to know about the ancient practice from her mother, who is an Ayurvedic doctor and dermatologist. "We have 5,000 years of history, heritage and culture, and rich ingredients that many other brands borrowed and diluted," she says. "Turmeric, amla, or ashwagandha are used in so many other brands, and it's really a time to celebrate and take ownership of those ingredients, and put it into formulations in the way we have learned in our beauty rituals."

As an influencer, she has gotten to try plenty of products, but she realized that there was no singular brand that had what she was looking for, so she decided to create it. "Why do we have to pick one or the other; only pretty brands, clinical brands, or natural brands?" she says, adding that she wanted her company to check all the boxes. That's why she offers serum for hyperpigmentation in the same breath as hair oil to boost growth.

Founding her beauty brand Indē Wild was not only an homage to her heritage but also a love letter to her community, both online and in real life. "Having almost two million people who know you, trust you, and love you — you're starting with that," she says. Because of that, she focuses on the concerns of melanated skin, Asian skin, and South Asian hair. "We keep them at the core of every decision."

As a practitioner of Ayurveda, some of her daily habits include yoga and meditation, drinking warm water in the morning, oil pulling, and weekly hair oiling using the brand's jasmine-scented Champi oil. Given that she's tried a handful of products with her job, Büller-Khosla also has plenty of recommendations worth buying, including her favorite cleanser and a blush that delivers a natural flush of color. Keep reading to learn more about her must haves ahead.

Büller-Khosla has been using the Garnier SkinActive Micellar Water For Waterproof Makeup ($8, originally $12) for years as a first cleanse in her double-cleansing routine and loves how gentle it feels on her combination and sensitive skin.

"It takes off waterproof makeup, just everything, and it's never made me break out," she says. Büller-Khosla uses the micellar water every night, regardless of whether she has makeup on or not. "It feels very refreshing. It just feels like water, but actually able to do all these other things as well."

Pro Tip: There are several different variations of Garnier's Micellar Water, like one with activated charcoal for oily skin and one with vitamin C to help brighten, but this one specifically is formulated to remove waterproof makeup.

From the color options and luxurious packaging to the formulation, Büller-Khosla loves using the Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks Blush Stick ($48) for a natural flush of color. It's a creamy stick formula that feels hydrating on the skin. "I usually smile and dab it on the apples of my cheeks and blend with my fingers or a brush," she says, noting that as a multi-purpose girl, she likes that it's versatile and can be used as an eyeshadow and on the lips. "It's pigmented yet supernatural and like buildable," she says.

Pro Tip: The Westman Atelier Baby Cheeks comes in six colors in both natural and matte finishes. "For my skin tone specifically, I feel like something with a bit of nude and brown works the best," Büller-Khosla says, noting she gravitates toward shades that are rosy or pink with a nude undertone.

The CeraVe Hydrating Facial Cleanser ($15, originally $18) is a staple in Büller-Khosla's routine because it gets the job done. "It's just one of those really simple cleansers that will just suit everyone," she say. "You can't go wrong with it. This cleanser will never harm your skin barrier; it's never going to put too many acids on your skin or over-exfoliate." Büller-Khosla describes the texture as a creamy, lotion-like feel that doesn't lather up too much, which she likes. She uses this after her micellar water and follows up her cleansing routine with Indē Wild's AM Sunrise Glow Serum and AM Suncreen Glow Drops SPF 50+.

Pro Tip: This cleanser is great for all skin types, especially those who lean more dry. Although Büller-Khosla has combination skin, she loves how gentle yet effective it is.

Diipa Büller-Khosla's Sleep Must Have

"My nighttime routine is so simple, and I'm so grateful because my entire life, I looked for a product that would just have it all in it, and I never found it, so I created it," Büller-Khosla says. Besides cleansing her skin, using one pipette of the Indē Wild Bakuchiol Ayurvedic Serum ($39) is pretty much her entire nighttime skin-care routine since it's so moisturizing on the skin. "You're hit with a subtle sense of saffron, and that immediately transports you to this luxurious kind of Indian palace that calms you. Then, the squalane has such an amazing, sensorial kind of velvety texture. It has this serum oil hybrid kind of a feeling."

Büller-Khosla notes that the bakuchiol boosts cell turnover and that, in turn, helps with dullness and firmness. It also contains amla and rosehip oil, which are packed with antioxidants. "I wake up to really healthy, glowy-looking skin, which I never had in my life before," she says.

Pro Tip: Büller-Khosla recommends pairing Bakuchiol Ayurvedic Serum with facial massage. She likes to create a Gua sha-like shape out of her fingers and massage with a kneading-like motion. "Everything has to go outward and upward instead of dragging anything down."

Diipa Büller-Khosla's Travel Must Have

Büller-Khosla depends on the Tumi Voyageur Venice Duffel ($525) for all her travel needs. "As a mom, every bag I've ever gotten has at one point become too small because you've got to carry so much extra stuff, um, but this one really keeps everything in there," she says. Not only does she rave about the quality and durability of the bag, but she also notes that the black colorway is classy and chic, "nobody knows all the like crazy junk inside it."

She loves that she can easily slide this bag on top of a carry-on suitcase, too. The duffle bag can fit a laptop, chargers, her medicine bag, sunscreen, lip balm, a handheld fan, and even snacks and protein bars for her and her family. She says that this is the perfect bag for those who want to carry a mini version of their world with them.

Pro Tip: "Before you fly, make sure you already eat enough so that when you get into the plane, you can just sleep straight away," she says. Buller-Khosla also recommends applying SPF on planes, as the "the radiation and UV damage in your skin is way worse because you're closer to the sun."
