As fate would have it, I really was in the market for a refresh in my blush stash exactly when this dropped and let me tell you, it lives up to those hefty claims. The powder in itself actually has a creamy, blendable finish that allows you to build up color as you please — you can use one swipe for a wash of color and two for a bolder, pigmented finish that's suitable for draping or contouring. For $16, this is a luxe-worthy dupe that I'll be adding to cart as soon as I hit pan." - AMK

Yves Saint Laurent Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick ($39)

"I love the YSL Beauty Candy Glaze Lip Gloss Stick so much that I went out and bought another one three days after trying it. The formula is thick like a lip mask, but not uncomfortable and it offers a wash of color that you can build up for more full-glam days (I pair it with the brand's Volupte Shine Balms ($43)) or just quickly swipe on when you just want a hint of color. I have the shades Scenic Brown and Sweet Pink, the latter of which I use for lip balm, and I literally have another one in my Sephora Cart as we speak." — AB

Dyson Airstrait straightener ($499)

"I'll be candid: I'm not one to usually like the look of straight hair — mine is very thin, so traditional straighteners usually make it way too flat. The fact that the Dyson Airstrait doesn't have hot plates made me hopeful that it wouldn't deliver me the same result, and I was right. I found it easy to work in pretty large sections of hair — roughly two-inch pieces — and only needed one pass to get sleek, straight ends.
