The summer of Barbie wouldn't be complete without matching barbiecore pink nails. In anticipation of Greta Gerwig's upcoming "Barbie" movie, Margot Robbie went full Mattel mode for Vogue's Summer 2023 issue, gracing the cover in a smattering of pastel looks and, of course, glossy pink nails. But as her nail artist, celebrity manicurist Tom Bachik, later shared on his Instagram, Robbie's barbiecore manicure can be easily replicated from the comfort of your own living room.

To get the exact look Robbie wore for her Vogue cover, Bachik recommended three items. First, he teased his own Tweezerman Nail Care Travel Set, which includes clippers, a cuticle nipper, and a dual sided buffer to help prep the nails. Next, he used Gel X nail tips from Aprés Nails, filing them into an almond shape. Finally, he painted the translucent nail tips a pale pink with the Vanity Fairest nail polish from Essie (bonus — it's only $10). Finish the look off with your favorite top coat to ensure it stays on all day.

Robbie and Bachik have worked together many times in the past, creating various nail trends on the red carpet. At the 93rd Annual Academy Awards, Bachik created the glossy minimalist look he coined "supermodel nails," sparking a wave of celebrity fans — from Jennifer Lopez, who wore them to the premiere of "The Mother," to Florence Pugh, whose version included subtle crystals. Robbie has also tried out "digital lavender" nails and negative-space nails, which Bachik called "minimal deliberate chic."
