The "Barbie" takeover is in full effect, and Margot Robbie is leading the charge. On June 25, the actor attended the press junket for the movie wearing a quintessential Barbie get-up: a pink-and-white polka-dot romper and white pointed-toe heels. But Robbie's commitment to the role was all in the details, particularly her manicure.
Her nails were their natural, short length and filed into a squared-oval shape. Margot's go-to manicurist, Tom Bachik, then opted for a sheer baby pink color using two coats of Essie's Vanity Fairest ($11), which he affectionately referred to as "Barbie's perfect pink." Robbie finished the look by accessorizing with a simple heart-shaped diamond ring with a gold band.
Pink nails are incredibly popular and versatile, working well with any outfit. The color acts as a subtle enhancement for a "my nails but better" look, especially if you're more of a minimalist.
