DIY it now: First, he rough-dried hair until it was nearly done to help bring out her natural texture and pump up the volume. He then used a boar-bristle brush to blow-dry the top section, sweeping it over the side. This action hid her bangs underneath the combed-over part, which also made her mane seem longer and fuller. He finished by curling it all with a one-and-one-quarter-inch curling iron from the middle down, leaving the ends purposely undone. The final step was to secure half of the hair over to one side with bobby pins.
