The Glam and Not-So-Glam Moments of Getting Red Carpet Ready

Glam moment: I'm an independent woman, and for most shoots, I do my own hair and makeup. But not today, friends. After reviving myself from the dead (aka my relaxing facial and massage), I headed to the Nars boutique on Melrose to get my makeup done.

I explained that I wanted to open up my eye, use warm shades on my lids, and have clean, dewy-looking skin. Using the new Spring 2015 collection, Nars delivered.

To open up my eye, the artist used Eye Paint in Porto Venere ($25) along my lower waterline. For the skin, I love the All Day Luminous Weightless Foundation ($48), but the artist went with Sheer Glow Foundation ($45) to keep my skin looking dewy.
