Selena Gomez is joining the glazed-nail trend. On Aug. 4, the actor's manicurist Tom Bachik posted a behind-the-scenes picture from the set of Hulu's "Selena + Chef," which is currently filming season three. In the images, she's wearing a gorgeous white milkmaid dress with puffed sleeves and her manicure complemented it perfectly.

Gomez's nails were filed into an oval shape and Bachik used Apres Nails's Cloud Nine ($9), a milky white hue, as the base. Then, he used the color "Cherub," a pinky-red reflective topcoat from the Heavenly Top Gelcoat Set ($70), to provide the wet-looking finish. The result? A sparkling manicure that was subtle enough to not distract from her dress (or the delicious dish she was cooking up) but still had a bit of dimension.

Glazed-doughnut nails have become one of the most popular manicures of the year. Other variations have since been created, like the glazed-doughnut french, strawberry-glazed, and even neon-glazed, so it's safe to say this manicure is versatile enough to be considered a neutral. Gomez's nails are the perfect transitional mani to start welcoming the fall season. Take a closer look at hers below.
