Shortly after FKA twigs started dating Robert Pattinson last September, the singer was the subject of a slew of racist messages on Twitter from fans of Twilight, Robert, and his ex-girlfriend Kristen Stewart. FKA, whose real name is Tahliah Barnett, took to Twitter to post a passionate response to the horrible comments. "I am genuinely shocked and disgusted at the amount of racism that has been infecting my account the past week," one tweet read, while she stated in another, "Racism is unacceptable in the real world and it's unacceptable online." FKA has the last laugh, though, as she and Robert were seen looking more in love than ever while walking the Met Gala red carpet together in NYC on May 4.

After British columnist Katie Hopkins slammed Kelly's weight on Twitter in February, saying she must have "eaten all of her backing singers," Kelly brushed it off like it was no big deal. "I'm awesome. It doesn't bother me. It's a free world. Say what you will. I've just never cared what people think. It's more if I'm happy and I'm confident and feeling good, that's always been my thing. And more so now, since having a family — I don't seek out any other acceptance."

After Jay Z's music streaming website Tidal came under fire from people who claimed it was struggling to gain subscribers, he took to Twitter to shut down his naysayers. In a series of 15 tweets, Jay set the record straight about Tidal's progress, saying, "Tidal is doing just fine. We have over 770,000 subs. We have been in business less than one month. #TidalFacts." He also said, "The iTunes Store wasn't built in a day. It took Spotify 9 years to be successful…" Amen, Jay!

When writer Jeff Walls criticized Amy in February because he claimed that she was "not good-looking enough" to play the lead in the upcoming romantic comedy Trainwreck, Amy responded with the thing she does best: humor. She posted a semi-nude photo of herself on Twitter, with the caption, "I am a size 6 and have no plans of changing. This is it. Stay on or get off. Kisses!" Trainwreck hits theaters July 17, and we can't wait to see Amy on the big screen!

Demi, who has been open about her struggles with eating disorders in the past, hilariously shut down a Twitter troll last December after he said, "shut up fatty don't choke on your mcdonalds." Instead of lashing out, Demi, who is known to answer hateful tweets with nothing but positivity and love, wrote back, "But .... Big Macs ....," alongside four touchdown hand emoji. We're right there with you, girl.

Janelle has killer style, and she doesn't let anyone dictate that but herself. The singer put a hater in his place in April after he told her to retire her signature suits and "stop being so soulful and be sexy." Janelle tweeted back, "sit down. I'm not for male consumption." AMEN.

Selena responded to a very dark bullying situation last year with nothing but class. After an Instagram user commented on one of her photos that she hopes the singer will "burn in hell with cancer," Selena refused to let that go.
