From Boxer to Baker, Idris Elba Tries Out Different Jobs in This Dreamy New Ad Campaign

Idris Elba — the Sexiest Man Alive, in case you forgot — stars in a new campaign for Squarespace, and it's just . . . delightful, you guys. In the Spike Jonze-directed ad, titled "Dream It," Idris lip-syncs along to a version of "Que Sera Sera" performed by Karishva Ghai and Kaos Choir for Deaf Awareness; the DJ and Turn Up Charlie star also tries out a few new gigs, including astronaut, baker, and puppeteer.

Of the campaign, Idris said, "Growing up as a kid in East London, I was a big daydreamer. I wanted to do all sorts of things. My main dream was to become a radio presenter, or be a DJ in the music industry." He also revealed what he might do in his "advanced years" should acting ever get tiring. "I probably will end up as some sort of teacher, professor of sort of giving people an opportunity to learn from me." Suddenly I'm interested in going back to school.

If Idris singing to small children and baking a cake doesn't appeal to you, perhaps his going shirtless to portray a boxing champ will entice you to press play? Watch the sweet, funny Squarespace ad now, and check out Idris trying to build his own website alongside his "assistant," rising comedian Lolly Adefope.
