It's Official — Kylie Jenner Is Now the World's Youngest Billionaire

Kylie Jenner has two milestones to celebrate this week: not only can she now officially call herself a billionaire, but according to Forbes, she's now the youngest billionaire in the world. The 21-year-old was featured on Forbes's yearly ranking of the richest people in the world, which was released on March 5, and out of the 2,153 names featured, Jenner came in at No. 2,057.

The youngest of the Kardashian-Jenner crew raised some eyebrows back in July when she covered Forbes and was categorized by the magazine as a "self-made millionaire." Her financial status can be attributed, of course, to the success of her brand, Kylie Cosmetics, though the idea of her being self-made is still seen as debatable by many. Last year, Kylie was said to be worth $900 million — making her the richest of her siblings — and the recent distribution deal she struck to have her famed lip kits sold exclusively in Ulta stores nationwide is likely what tipped her into billionaire status.

"I didn't expect anything. I did not foresee the future," Kylie told Forbes. "But [the recognition] feels really good. That's a nice pat on the back." Kylie joins the list with other billionaires Jeff Bezos, Mark Zuckerberg, and Bill Gates.
