Surprise! Meghan Markle Makes an Unexpected Appearance at the Queen's Birthday Celebration

Surprise! Meghan Markle has just made her first public appearance since giving birth to her son, Archie Mountbatten-Windsor.

The Duchess of Sussex, wearing understated head-to-toe navy, joined her husband, Prince Harry, and many other members of the royal family for the annual Trooping the Colour, which celebrates the queen's birthday. It was thought that Meghan wouldn't be attending the royal event today as she gave birth just a month ago and is currently on maternity leave. However, it seems she didn't want to miss out on this important family occasion. Although we got a glimpse of the new parents during their photocall in May when they proudly introduced Archie to the world, this is the first time she's been on a public royal engagement since his birth.

Sharing the carriage with the Duke and Duchess of Sussex were Kate Middleton and the Duchess of Cornwall (Prince Charles and Prince William were on horseback). This is not the last we'll see of Meghan; there will be another glimpse of her when she steps out with the rest of the family to watch the famous flypast by the Royal Air Force. Ahead, see all of the photos of Meghan's first public appearance since giving birth. Of course, she looks as radiant as ever.
