Prince William and Kate Middleton, 2016
Ever since Royal Ascot was founded by Queen Anne in 1711, the annual five-day event has allowed the royal family to make countless memories with one another. Queen Elizabeth II is a particularly big fan of horse racing (and has her own race horses), so it's a big family affair. In June, the family gathers at Ascot Racecourse to enjoy some racing and betting in their Sunday best. Last year was the queen's 65th year attending the annual event, and she's back again this year.
From the Queen's bright outfits to Princess Eugenie and Princess Beatrice's celebrations, and, of course, Prince Harry and Meghan Markle's first time at the event together, these photos will make you feel like you were actually there. If you've never had an invite into the royal enclosure, we've rounded up some of our favorite moments the royals have shared at Ascot over the years.
