Selena Gomez Appears Unbothered as Ex-Boyfriend The Weeknd Shades Her in His Songs

Selena Gomez happens to be the subject of a handful of songs on The Weeknd's new EP My Dear Melancholy, which dropped early Friday morning. But judging by the Instagram snaps she posted later that day, she doesn't look too bothered. The "Wolves" singer shared filtered photos of herself from the day before, rustling her hair while sitting next to one of her Coach bags β€” she's teamed up with the brand for a full collection. Also on Thursday, Selena was spotted leaving a Pilates class in LA β€” likely equally unperturbed about her ex-boyfriend's impending album drop.

The Weeknd clearly put pen to paper after his split from Selena in October 2017, which was reportedly partly caused by her reconciliation with Justin Bieber. On tracks like "Call Out My Name," "Privilege," and "Hurt You," The Weeknd alludes to his broken relationship with Selena and also seems to wax poetic about his former romance with model Bella Hadid in the songs "Try Me" and "Wasted Times." Despite the drama, Selena β€” who also recently split from Justin Bieber β€” looks to be feeling confident and without a f*ck.
