Hours after enjoying a magical day at Disneyland with pal Lily Aldridge and her daughter, Dixie Pearl, Taylor Swift made her way to Beverly Hills, CA, for a surprise appearance at the GLAAD Media Awards on Saturday. While the singer, who is currently on hiatus, skipped the red carpet, she was in good company once she made her way inside The Beverly Hilton Hotel.
Inside, Taylor took the stage and presented Ruby Rose with the esteemed Stephen F. Kolzak award for her work in advocacy in the LGBT community. On stage, the ladies shared an adorable hug and Taylor even held on to Ruby's jacket while she gave her acceptance speech. Later that night, the Orange Is the New Black star took to Instagram and gushed over her monumental night, writing, "The true story of how one 'sometimes girl' ( me ) was surprised and brought to tears by a surprise 'always amazing and giving' girl @taylorswift .. Speeches, hugs and the most beautiful jacket holder in the world." Keep reading for more pictures, then see how Ruby is making a difference in the LGBT community.
