Lily-Rose Depp Calls 070 Shake the "Love of My Life" in PDA-Filled Birthday Post

Things are getting serious between Lily-Rose Depp and 070 Shake. On June 13, Depp took to Instagram to wish the rapper (whose given name is Danielle Balbuena) a happy birthday. She shared a series of photos of them embracing on her Story and wrote over one, "Happy birthday Love of my Life." Over another, she wrote, "Te amo Dani."

The birthday post comes after Depp, 24, and 070 Shake, 26, were photographed embracing at LAX airport on May 25, according to photos obtained by "Entertainment Tonight." The two hard-launched their relationship on May 11 when Depp shared a PDA-filled photo of herself and the musician smooching on her Instagram Story, per E! News, captioning the post, "4 MONTHS WITH MY CRUSH." Depp had also reportedly shared a number of loved-up photos with 070 Shake prior.

The actor appeared to hint at her sexual fluidity in 2015 when she took part in a photo shoot for people who "identify as anything other than 100 percent straight," per "ET." A year later, she told Nylon that she hadn't meant for the shoot to imply anything in particular about her sexuality. "A lot of people took it as me coming out, but that's not what I was trying to do," she said. "I was literally doing it just to say that you don't have to label your sexuality; so many kids these days are not labeling their sexuality and I think that's so cool. If you like something one day then you do, and if you like something else the other day, it's whatever. You don't have to label yourself, because it's not set in stone. It's so fluid and there's so much pressure on kids to label themselves and say, 'This is what I am, this is what I like.' I was just trying to say that it's unnecessary; you don't need to label yourself."

Depp has previously been linked to Timothée Chalamet and Austin Butler, while 070 Shake was linked to fellow musician Kehlani. Reps for Depp and 070 Shake did not respond to POPSUGAR's request for comment.

It's been a major couple of weeks for Depp, who stars in The Weeknd (real name Abel Tesfaye) and Sam Levinson's HBO series "The Idol" as a pop star who falls prey to a cult leader (and Depp does her own singing for the role). The first two episodes premiered at the 2023 Cannes Film Festival on May 22, and the show began airing on June 4.

The series was embroiled in controversy even before its release, due in part to a Rolling Stone exposé that alleged a toxic work environment. However, Depp has only had positive things to say about her experience so far. "It's always a little sad and disheartening to see mean, false things said about someone you care about," she told IndieWire on May 23 in response the Rolling Stone story.
