Another confusing portion of the performance was Katy's apparent Wii Remote strap. Like, was that real?
And the sharks! How could we forget about the sharks? Turns out, one of them totally came forward on Reddit.
Upon further investigation, we came to realize the shark is a very beautiful man named Scott Myrick.
The real winner of the night, though, might have been Jimmy Fallon. He killed it on The Tonight Show with an epic, a cappella celebrity version of "We Are the Champions" and a lip-sync battle to end all lip-sync battles.
Since we'd like to seal this with a kiss, let's finish things off with Tom Brady and Gisele Bündchen's adorable PDA.
