Fans of the franchise were obviously very invested in the two being together in real life, but the former couple kept their relationship private until photos of Stewart kissing her "Snow White and the Huntsman" director, Rupert Sanders, leaked while they were still dating. According to People, Pattinson and Stewart tried to reconcile shortly after, but they called it quits on their relationship in 2013.
Even years after their breakup, their relationship still tends to come up occasionally in the press. Last year, Stewart opened up about her romance with Pattinson, telling the New Yorker that they were "young and stupid" back then.
