SNL's Pete Davidson's Tribute to His Dad Who Died on 9/11 Is Beautiful and Heartbreaking

Sunday marked the 15th anniversary of the tragic attacks of Sept. 11, 2001, and Pete Davidson remembered his firefighter father who lost his life that day. The Saturday Night Live comedian paid tribute to his dad with a series of heartfelt throwback photos and captioned one of them, "Can't believe tomorrow is going to be 15 years. Missing the legend !!! Thank u all for ur kind words and support as always #werememberthem." He also included another snap of his dad's old work boots, writing, "One of my dads homies gave me his old dirty ass boots from work and a sick photo of him lookin like a young legend !!! Apparently my dad wore sketchers how f*ckin embarrassing!!"

Pete was only 7 years old when his father's unit went to the Marriott World Trade Center Hotel, which was destroyed when the Twin Towers collapsed.
