  1. They exchanged handwritten vows. During a candlelit ceremony that was officiated by the couple's close friend, director Bill Purple, Justin and Jessica exchanged handwritten vows that expressed their love for one another.
  2. They decided to get married in the Puglia region of Italy not only for its beauty, but because they love Italian food. During the cocktail hour, guests moved to an al fresco bar for drinks and hors d'oeuvres, such as lobster in turnip tops and mini caprese salads. Dinner included a four-course meal featuring steak, sea bass, and affogato (a classic Italian dessert with a scoop of ice cream topped with a shot of espresso).
  3. Their first dance song was Donny Hathaway's "A Song For You." Later in the night, the crowd got down to a combination of retro '60s classics and hip-hop hits spun by DJ Questlove.
