After being told she couldn't conceive due to a cancer diagnosis, Hoda formally adopted her oldest daughter, Haley Joy, in 2017 at the age of 52. Despite trying to put the thought of motherhood out of her mind, she told Dr. Oz: "So I never talked about it. Then one day, sometimes you can only push your feelings away for so long and then you say, 'That's enough.' I have to say it out loud."
Hoda shared a sweet throwback picture of herself and Haley on her daughter's third birthday (which is Feb. 14!), writing: "I believe in miracles. My first one happened 3 years ago. My only request... is for you Father Time ... pls slow down."
