Now she gets the house, gets the kids, gets the pride / Picture me thick as thieves with your ex-wife," she sings. Fans have speculated that the song references Braun's divorce from Yael Cohen. Per People, Braun was ordered to pay $20 million to Cohen, as well as $60,000 in child support per month. The outlet first confirmed their divorce in 2021.
Fans also think that the song "Karma" is a dig at Braun and Borchetta. In that song, Swift sings about being unbothered by karma while someone who has done her wrong has a lot to worry about, and lyrics like "spiderboy, king of thieves" and "my pennies made your crown" do seem like references to the financial aspect of their betrayal.
