It Was Kim Kardashian's Decade, and We Were Just Living in It

By 2014, Kim had already dropped plenty of jaws with her sexy snaps — but nobody was ready for that year's Paper magazine cover, which marked the publication's first-ever "Break the Internet" issue. The racy and artistic photos were taken by legendary French photographer Jean-Paul Goude as a re-creation of one of his most classic shots, "Carolina Beaumont," which features a Black model balancing a Champagne glass on her backside. Spoiler alert: Kim's bare, oiled-up butt and full-frontal nudity did indeed break the internet, as well as inspire tons of memes and merch.
