Since 2006, Flower has worked with The Somaly Mam Foundation to help end human and sex trafficking. She is also a strong proponent of music education and antislavery for at-risk youth.
As an activist, Flower has worked with organizations like AFESIP and Cast LA to assist people trafficked for the purpose of forced labor. She is also an artist ambassador for the United Nations Office on Drug and Crime and the youngest board member for The Liberace Foundation For the Performing and Creative Arts.
In May 2013, Cast LA recognized Flower's hard work in music education and anti human trafficking by presenting her with the Creative Impact Award, according to Global Grind. In October 2022, Flower also received The Last Girl's Impact Award, presented by Gloria Steinem and Apne Aap.
