Rob Gronkowski Says He and Camille Kostek Will "Eventually" Get Engaged — Relive Their Relationship

Gronkowski and Kostek met at a Goodwill charity event in 2013. "Camille and I met during Thanksgiving week. Therefore, I am very thankful for the charity event we met at," Gronkowski told People in 2021.

Gronkowski and Kostek made their public debut as a couple at the Nickelodeon Kids' Choice Sports Awards in 2017.

Gronkowski announced his first retirement from football in March 2019. At the time, Kostek expressed her support in an interview with Extra, per People. She also said she wasn't sure he would stay retired. (He returned in 2020.) "I think he is messing with everybody, then again he stumps me all the time so who knows?" she said. "He could be pulling this out of the woodwork at some time. I would love to see him out there, but I am also respecting him taking this time for himself, healing up his body, and enjoying the time off."

Kostek also discussed Gronkowski's career. "It's been a blast," she said. "I was cheerleading on the sidelines in the first couple years . . . I went from cheering him on the sidelines of the Super Bowl to being a proud girlfriend in the crowd to [watching him end] his career on the Super Bowl field . . . I feel very lucky that I got to be a part his incredible career."

Kostek appeared on the cover of Sports Illustrated's swimsuit issue in 2019. She celebrated with Gronkowski at a launch that May.

In a Jan. 27 interview with People, Gronkowski said getting engaged to Kostek has crossed his mind. He said they "definitely talk about" getting engaged, but it's hard because "we're both super busy with our careers . . . She's right in the middle of hers, shooting for Sports Illustrated once again, and then we got the Super Bowl."

He did note that her birthday and Valentine's Day are approaching. "Maybe some magic will happen," he said. "[It's] going to have to eventually happen."
