Sheryl Lee Ralph Can't Contain Her Excitement While Meeting Zendaya at the SAG Awards

The SAG Awards red carpet was flooded with celebrity friends reuniting on Feb. 26. As old friends and former costars shared laughs and posed for photos, new connections were also formed. During the award show, Sheryl Lee Ralph and Zendaya met for the first time, and neither actor could hold in their excitement.

Like Adele having her dreams realized by Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson at the Grammys, Ralph and Zendaya looked genuinely surprised to see each other in person for the first time. Between award presentations, Zendaya walked over to introduce herself to Ralph, smiling as she extended a hand to the Emmy-winning actor. While both stars were visibly excited, Ralph's face was the epitome of shock and delight.

Grasping each other's hands, the duo also appeared to exchange words of praise and adoration. While it's unclear what exactly Zendaya and Ralph discussed, we have no doubt that the impressive actors were equally in awe of one another. Following their initial exchange, the pair posed for photos, inviting Tyler James Williams to join them for a few snaps.

With Zendaya filming for "Dune: Part Two" and Ralph balancing her "Abbott Elementary" shows with Super Bowl performances, the two haven't had time to work together in the past. Now that they've hit it off at the SAG Awards, though, we can only hope to see the remarkable actors share the screen someday.
