Zoom In on the American Horror Story: Freak Show Poster

We don't know much about Elsa except she's "a German expat who is managing one of the last freak shows in the US."

We don't know anything about Bassett's character yet, aside from her name. What we do know, though, is that it looks like she's got three boobs here.

We didn't know Bates was the bearded lady until we saw the poster! What we've learned since, though, is that she's the ex-wife of the "resident strongman," Wendell del Tolito, played by Michael Chiklis, and the mother of Jimmy Darling, played by Evan Peters.

Ryan Murphy spoke quite a bit about the strongman, so we think he'll play a big part in this season. We do know that he's the ex-husband of Ethel Darling, the Bearded Lady; father of Jimmy Darling; and, reportedly, currently married to Desiree Dupree (Bassett).

Jimmy Darling is the son of Ethel Darling, the Bearded Lady. Although we haven't gotten any details about him, the poster suggests he's inherited some strength from his father, "resident strongman" Wendell del Tolito.

O'Hare's character doesn't have a name, but we learned earlier this year that he's a collector of freaks. Count us in.

We know nothing about Conroy's character, except that she exists and looks like this. She looks very similarly dressed to Denis O'Hare's character, though, and we know he's a collector of freaks. Maybe they're in on it together?

We haven't heard anything about these two, except that one of them is a veritable giant and one is fairly tiny. Looks like the world's smallest woman, who joined the cast recently, will be in good company.

This also seems like an appropriate time to mention those weird acrobat pillars in the background. That's about all there is to say about them: they're weird acrobat pillars.

We know zero things about this person, except that she swallows swords. Obviously. Also what's the deal with splits lady, huh?

Remember that leaked call sheet from a while back? Both a "dark figure" and "twisted clown" are mentioned, and we're assuming this shadow, cast on the side of the tent, has to be one of them. Are you terrified yet?
