Now that you've hopefully gotten well-acquainted with Sabrina, Ambrose, Harvey, Miss Wardwell, and the rest of the gang on Chilling Adventures of Sabrina, it's time to share some good news: a holiday special of the dark and twisted Netflix series is coming soon!
Thanks to the streaming giant's new push for holiday content, Chilling Adventures of Sabrina: A Midwinter's Tale will debut on Dec. 14, promising plenty more hidden horror movie references, sarcastic one-liners courtesy of Aunt Zelda, and more. According to a press release from Netflix, the episode is described as such:
"The Church of Night, like all covens, celebrates the Winter Solstice — the longest night of the year — when families gather around the Yule Fire to sing pagan carols and tell ghost stories. But the holidays are also a time for guests and visitors — both welcome and unwelcome — you never know what might come down the chimney . . ."
In other words, we have a few things to look forward to, chief among them being original (and likely very creepy) carols sung by the cast and perhaps some more clues as to how Miss Wardwell's nefarious plans for Sabrina will solidify (we have a feeling she'll be giving Sabrina something much more sinister than socks this Christmas). Until the episode finally arrives, you can feast
of feasts your eyes on this holiday card shared by showrunner Roberto Aguirre-Sacasa, which sees Sabrina and Harvey in much better spirits than they are in the season one finale.
