In what might be the most iconic wedding on the list, Meredith and Derek end up forgoing the plans for a big ceremony, and instead write down their vows on a post-it: "Love each other even when we hate each other. No running. Take care when old, senile, and smelly. And it's forever."

Don't worry, though — all of Izzie's hard work planning the wedding for Meredith and Derek doesn't go to waste. When the doctors discover that she has another tumor, Meredith and Derek give their dream wedding to her and Alex (Justin Chambers) instead, knowing she doesn't have a lot of time left (or so they think).
