Another Golden Buzzer winner wowed the judges during the first night of America's Got Talent's season 14 quarterfinals on Tuesday, and this performance took the audience all the way to Broadway. Luke Islam paid tribute to his love for Broadway with a sensational rendition of "You Will Be Found" from the Tony-winning musical Dear Evan Hansen.
During his original audition, the aspiring Broadway singer revealed the depth of his devotion to theater, admitting that he enters lotteries every weekend in hopes that he'll be able to see a show live with his parents. After his performance of "You Will Be Found," Howie Mandel told Islam that the audience all just "watched your dream come true," predicting that the 12-year-old will be performing on Broadway himself sooner than later. Gabrielle Union added that viewers probably just "fell in love all over again," which we can totally attest to.
Islam is probably too young to grab the lead role in the current Broadway run, but we would totally vouch for him to nab a role in the film adaptation! Watch his performance above, and then check out some other great performances from season 14.
