You'll Be Totally On Board For Aziz Ansari's Netflix Show After Watching the Trailer
We're so used to seeing Aziz Ansari as the over-the-top entrepreneur Tom Haverford on Parks and Recreation that it's actually kind of weird to see him play a normal dude. His upcoming Netflix series, Master of None, has him playing Dev, a 30-year-old actor in New York City — so essentially a version of himself. The trailer is here, and if you weren't on board with the show before, you certainly will be after watching it. Not only is Dev struggling to come to grips with being typecast as an Indian dude with an accent, but he's freaking out about his relationship and the fact that he's at the age where the person you're dating is probably the one you're going to marry. It's frighteningly relatable and totally hilarious. Season one drops on Nov. 6, along with a bunch of other new releases on Netflix.
