Does This Instagram Mean Melissa McCarthy Is in the Gilmore Girls Reboot After All?
We've been tracking all the big news about the Gilmore Girls reboot, and even though the cast list has made us happy, there is one bold-faced name that's been missing: Melissa McCarthy. There seemed to be a bit of skirmish when McCarthy had tweeted about not being asked back, but we have reason to suspect that may not be the case after all. In an Instragram posted by cast member Yanic Truesdale, who plays Michel, Truesdale poses with none other than McCarthy (aka Sookie St. James). Though Truesdale tries to explain that it's all very innocent and not at all Gilmore Girls-related with the caption, "Scotch, great meal and catching up with my old friend @melissamccarthy, can't ask for more! Dont read anything into it guys," we are still going to do that because we can. Simple reunion between two old co-workers? Sure. But we're not giving up hope that this little meeting could have something to do with a trip to the Dragonfly Inn.
