Once Upon a Time Season 5: Everything We Know

As you recall from the season finale, Emma sacrifices herself to the Darkness to become the new Dark One. It's not known how long she'll be the actual Dark One, but we do know that Rumple is training her, she looks like a badass, and it will of course test her budding relationship with Hook.

Merida isn't the only new face coming. There are several other characters, and they all hail from Camelot. According to this preview, they're teaming up with Merida.

Mader and Maguire, who play Zelena and Robin Hood, respectively, were promoted from recurring stars to series regulars for season five. Perhaps this will give Robin a chance to explain himself.

Socha, who plays Will Scarlet, will not return to season five. He briefly romances Belle last season, but it sounds like she'll be able to refocus on Rumple, even though he is comatose, pretty much.
