Orange Is the New Black: 5 Main Characters Who Are Introduced in Season 4

Of all the new characters we've met so far, we know the most about Judy King, played by Blair Brown. She briefly pops up in season three as a Martha Stewart-esque celebrity chef who's charged with tax evasion, and she's a major part of season four.

One of the best things about Orange Is the New Black is its celebration of diversity, and season four doesn't seem to be shying away from that. Hijab-wearing Alison Abdullah joins the cast in season four, but we still don't have a lot of information about her.

More inmates plus season three's staff walkout mean more guards have to come into the picture as well. Among the new additions is Desi Piscatella, played by Brad William Henke, who has starred on a number of shows. Unfortunately, Piscatella is kind of a d*ck.

Humphrey (pictured in the middle) is one of the new guards, and he is seriously twisted. At one point, he makes Maritza eat either roaches or a baby mouse at gunpoint. If you're wondering why he looks familiar, it's probably because you've seen actor Michael Torpey before.

While she's at first at odds with bunkmate Piper, the two learn to get along, and Hapakuka becomes Piper's "muscle."
