After a decade of hype, we finally know what Amy Sherman-Palladino intended to be the final four words on Gilmore Girls. Netflix ended A Year in the Life with the exchange, which opens an unexpected new door for the girls. At the end of the "Fall" episode, Rory turns to Lorelai and says, "Mom?"
