Rogue One: Look Out For This Callback to the Famous Cantina Scene

Warning: Light spoilers below!

Even though it's technically a standalone film, Rogue One: A Star Wars Story still finds subtle ways to honor its roots. One reference to be on the lookout for has to do with that famous cantina scene from A New Hope. Remember the two outlaws who pick a fight with Luke? One has a jacked-up nose and the other is a dude with two gross orbs on his chin? According to canon, their names are Cornelius Evazan and Ponda Baba, and they return in a blink-and-you-missed-it cameo.

Early on in Rogue One, our fearless rebels are making their way through a busy marketplace when one accidentally bumps into Cornelius and Ponda. They exchange some insults and continue on their way. It's short, but it's enough to satisfy us. You can see them in the original cantina scene above!
