Netflix is kicking off 2018 with a brand-new show that is sure to spark conversation: Seven Seconds. The first season of this murder mystery anthology follows a white cop in Jersey City (Beau Knapp) who accidentally runs over a young black teen and attempts to cover up the crime. Before long, racial tensions over the incident begin to boil over, and a trial is set to figure out what really happened. The series features Regina King as the heartbroken mother of the teen who was killed, Russell Hornsby as her husband, and breakout British actress Clare-Hope Ashitey (Children of Men) as the young attorney assigned to the case.
