Grab a cosmo — and your BFFs! — and make sure to save the date, because there's going to be a Sex and the City party on E! this June.
The hit HBO series, which ran for six seasons and spawned two films, including 2008's Sex and the City and 2010's Sex and the City 2, will celebrate its 20th anniversary next month. E! will air a marathon of the romantic comedy-drama in chronological order as a gift for fans of the beloved show.
"Twenty years ago, shoes were slightly cheaper, dating didn't involve apps, and smoking was allowed in bars," a voiceover narrates in a promotional clip. "A lot can change in 20 years, but we still love sex . . . and the city." Carrie Bradshaw (Sarah Jessica Parker), Samantha Jones (Kim Cattrall), Charlotte York (Kristin Davis), and Miranda Hobbes (Cynthia Nixon) back on our TV screens for 48 hours uninterrupted? We can't think of anything better.
E!'s Sex and the City marathon spans from Friday, June 8 at 7:30 p.m. ET through Sunday, June 10 at 7 p.m. ET.
