Jonez plays The Notorious B.I.G., whose real name was Christopher Wallace. It's the actor's first role, and so far he's doing a pretty perfect job at embodying Wallace, who was murdered in a drive-by shooting on March 9, 1997.

Rose is practically a pro at playing Tupac at this point, having also portrayed the legendary rapper in 2015's Straight Outta Compton.

Duhamel took a break from fighting Decepticons in the Transformers franchise to play Detective Kading. The real-life Kading's investigations are the ones that inspired Unsolved.

Officer Daryn Dupree is an important member of Kading's task force. Before playing the police officer, Woodbine appeared in Spider-Man: Homecoming and Riddick.

Poole was the original investigator on Wallace's murder (as well as the murder of police officer Kevin Gaines) and is portrayed by Westworld actor Simpson. More recently, he appeared in the critically acclaimed "U.S.S. Callister" episode of Black Mirror.
