Have you been anxiously waiting to dive back into the dark world of the Byrde family? Has your Summer been incomplete without watching the clan navigate the troubling world of money laundering and drug cartels in the Missouri Ozarks?
Well, you don't have to wait much longer, because Ozark season two will be dropping in just a few short weeks. Look for season two on Netflix on Friday, Aug. 31, and get ready for an all-nighter; although Netflix hasn't officially announced the exact moment, it's most probable that season two will drop that date at 3 a.m. ET/midnight PT — which is the time Netflix makes the majority of its original series releases available for streaming.
Although cast members have been tight-lipped on what to expect from the new season, we do know that the majority of the original cast are set to return, including Arrested Development's Jason Bateman, who scored an Emmy nomination for his role as Marty Byrde on Ozark, and his onscreen wife, three-time Oscar nominee Laura Linney, who plays Wendy Byrde. One big addition to the cast is British actress Janet McTeer (Me Before You, The Woman in Black) as a "Chicago based attorney with links to the cartel," according to Netflix.
