Here's Where You Can See the "Stranger Things" Cast Next

Just as their characters went from playing Dungeons & Dragons to fighting off very real and very monsters, the talented and ever-growing "Stranger Things" cast have continued to star in creative pursuits beyond their Netflix show. In addition to appearing in all manner of movies and TV shows, the cast has continued to unveil everything from musical projects (though we're still waiting on Joseph Quinn to announce his, and by the looks of a July 10 video of him showing off his Metallica guitar skills, he definitely could pull it off) to vegan Nutella lines.

We'll likely have to wait a while before the fifth and final season of "Stranger Things" airs — judging by the amount of time that passed between other seasons, the fifth season likely won't air until 2023 or 2024 at the earliest. Fortunately, won't have to wait that long to see some of our favorite "Stranger Things" actors take to the screen. Among the cast, there are tons of exciting projects ahead on the big and small screens. Keep reading to learn where you'll see your favorite "Stranger Things" actors before the series' final season — they won't be in the Upside Down just yet!

Winona Ryder

We might not get to see Mama Byers for a minute, but while she currently doesn't have tons of projects on the radar, there are plenty of opportunities to watch her in action.

Most recently, Ryder worked her magic as the star of the mystery-thriller "Gone in the Night," appearing alongside Dermot Mulroney and John Gallagher Jr. The film was released on July 15. It's also worth checking out her rom-com "Destination Wedding" with the internet's crush, Keanu Reeves. Of course, there's also a bunch of throwback Winona classics around, including "Beetlejuice," "Edward Scissorhands," and "Heathers."

David Harbour

David Harbour makes a triumphant return as Hopper in season four, but until we get to see him back in action in the final season of "Stranger Things," there are a couple of new projects fans can look forward to. Up next, Harbour will star as Santa Claus in "Violet Night," which premieres on Dec. 2 and which will mix holiday cheer with horror. He's also been cast in a starring role in Cooper Raiff's film "The Trashers," playing a real-life Connecticut trash magnate who apparently inspired "The Sopranos."

At the moment, when not lifting incredibly heavy objects, Harbour is starring on London's West End in the play "Mad House."

Millie Bobby Brown

Millie Bobby Brown became a star the instant "Stranger Things" premiered, and to no one's surprise, she has continued to crush it in her career over the years. She will appear in "Enola Holmes 2," due out on Netflix at some point later this year. She will also star as a princess in the film "Damsel," which comes out in 2023 and which she's also executive producing.

And when not promoting her makeup line or vacationing in Europe with Jake Bongiovi, she'll try her hand at producing once again with the film "The Girls I've Been," which she will star in as con artist Nora O'Malley. Finally, she's set to join forces with the Russo Brothers for the post-apocalyptic film "The Electric State," which, like the aforementioned "The Girls I've Been," doesn't yet have a release date.

Gaten Matarazzo

While we won't get to see him confuse Steve with his elaborate theories about the Upside Down for a while, Gaten Matarazzo is keeping quite busy. Up next, you can see Matarazzo in "Honor Society," a YA flim dropping on Paramount+ on July 29. On July 19, he began a stint in Broadway's "Dear Evan Hansen," playing the role of Jared Kleinman — and adorably, Maya Hawke and Sadie Sink surprised him with a visit on opening night.

Finn Wolfhard

Before he returns to the screen in the last season of "Stranger Things" to work on his relationship with Eleven (and hopefully his friendship with Will, too), Finn Wolfhard will voice the role of Lampwick in Guillermo del Toro's stop-motion adaption of "Pinocchio," due out in December.

The multitalented musician and actor will also be trying his hand at behind-the-scenes work with the horror flick "Hell of a Summer," which he cowrote with Billy Bryk. He'll also be co-directing and costarring in the film, which doesn't yet have a release date.

Maya Hawke

Maya Hawke became a fan favorite as the charming and clumsy Robin on "Stranger Things," and in addition to releasing music, she has some exciting onscreen projects coming up. She'll star alongside her mother, Uma Thurman, in "The Kill Room," a dark comedy about a hitman and an art dealer. She's also set to join her dad, Ethan Hawke, in the comedy "Revolver," playing a girl named Jane living in an Alaskan town during the height of Beatlemania.

Additionally, she'll star in another dark comedy, "Do Revenge," alongside Camila Mendes. The pair will play two high school students who decide to team up and go after each others' bullies.

None of the projects have release dates yet, but whatever Hawke does next, you can bet that Hawke will be a very proud dad.

Sadie Sink

Sadie Sink

Sadie Sink has had an extraordinary few years, starring in Taylor Swift's "All Too Well" short film in 2021 and delivering a standout performance as Max on "Stranger Things" that helped spark a Kate Bush revival and that somehow didn't earn her an Emmy nomination.

Up next, she'll appear in the movie "Dear Zoe," starring as a girl who loses her sister in the September 11 attacks. The film premieres on Nov. 4.

She'll also star in "The Whale," a psychological drama directed by Darren Aronofsky, playing a 17-year-old whose estranged father tries to reconnect with her; the film doesn't yet have a release date.

Caleb McLaughlin

We'll be anxiously waiting to see what happens to Lucas and Max in the final season of "Stranger Things," but that's not the only Netflix project we'll be seeing McLaughlin in over the next few years. He'll also appear in a horror film called "The Deliverance," which is projected to hit the streamer in 2023. The film is based on the real-life story of Latoya Ammons, who claims she and her family were victims of a demonic possession, and it stars McLaughlin alongside Andra Day and Glenn Close.

Noah Schnapp

Noah Schnapp might currently be keeping busy making headlines by beefing with Doja Cat, promoting his vegan Nutella alternative, and making his character Will's sexuality crystal clear.

But he also has at least one new onscreen project coming up — the actor will star alongside Victoria Justice in "The Tutor," a mystery thriller currently without a release date. Like many of the other projects his "Stranger Things" costars are appearing in, the premise sounds distinctly eerie: Schnapp will play a disturbed young boy living in a remote manor who exposes his tutor's secrets.

Priah Ferguson

Priah Ferguson was a beloved addition to the "Stranger Things" cast from the moment she appeared onscreen in Season 3, and she also has some exciting projects on the way.

She'll be starring in "Boo!" alongside Marlon Wayans, playing a teenage girl who mistakenly frees a bothersome spirit one Halloween night. The film is expected to drop in October. She's also a voice actor on Netflix's 2023 series "My Dad the Bounty Hunter." The 15-year-old also runs her own production company, Bold Honey, which "is a creative platform that amplifies the voices, narratives, and creative merits of young women and girls of color," per its website.

Natalia Dyer

Also joining many of her "Stranger Things" costars in the horror genre is Natalia Dyer, who will star alongside "Sex Education" star Asa Butterfield in the creepy thriller "All Fun and Games," which tells the story of siblings who are pulled into a demonic game, and which began production in April.

She'll also star in the movie "Chestnut," playing a recent graduate who becomes involved in a queer love triangle during the summer after college. Rachel Keller and Danny Ramirez play the two members of the triangle.

Charlie Heaton

Unfortunately, it doesn't seem like Charlie Heaton — yet another "Stranger Things" musician — has anything other than the final season of "Stranger Things" incoming at the moment. But don't worry; his real-life relationship with Dyer is still going strong, even if Nancy and Jonathan are struggling with their long-distance relationship!

Joe Keery

Before he returns as bully-turned-beloved babysitter Steve, Joe Keery will star alongside Liam Neeson in the sci-fi movie "Cold Storage," a film about a dangerous microorganism that escapes a military lab and infects the world. The movie is set to start filming this fall, according to Deadline.

He'll also star in "Marmalade," a movie about a small-town man trying to escape prison. The film reportedly wrapped filming in mid-July, according to Screen Daily.

Joseph Quinn

Joseph Quinn

Joseph Quinn's Eddie Munson was the undeniable breakout star of "Stranger Things" season four, with his character becoming something of an icon along with the actor himself. While he doesn't have too many projects on the way as of now, that's likely to change after his "Stranger Things" success.

As of now, he has been cast in the film "Hoard," which the director, Luna Carmoon, reportedly labeled "body horror of the mind." The film doesn't yet have a release date but is apparently in post-production, so hopefully we won't have to wait too long to see Quinn grace the screen again.

Jamie Campbell Bower

Jamie Campbell Bower

Jamie Campbell Bower horrified viewers as Henry Creel/Vecna/One in the "Stranger Things" fourth season, and unsurprisingly, his next project is a horror flick. He'll be starring alongside Erin Moriarty in "True Haunting," based on the true story of Ed and Marsha Becker, whose home was the site of the first-ever televised exorcism. The film is slated to premiere in 2023.

Eduardo Franco

Eduardo Franco provided very necessary comic relief to the "Stranger Things" fourth season. While the "Booksmart" actor doesn't seem to have too many projects currently lined up, we also hope that will change given his newfound success as the iconic Argyle. For now, he's been cast in the pilot of "Masters of Doom," a series that follows some computer whizzes as they create a bestselling video game. The series is currently in pre-production, but it sounds right up "Stranger Things" fans' alley.
