All the Reasons You Recognize the Cast of Workin' Moms on Netflix

If you're sick of TV moms who always make child-rearing look easy, then you're going to want to tune in to Workin' Moms on Netflix. The Canadian sitcom follows four friends — an ambitious PR executive, a no-nonsense psychiatrist, an IT tech with an identity crisis, and an unfailingly optimistic real estate agent — who meet in a mommy group and share a bond as women attempting to balance careers and family. From postpartum depression to the agonies of breastfeeding, this series is never afraid to show the less glamorous side of being a new mom. And even though the cast is filled with a lot of unfamiliar faces, they'll quickly feel like friends once you start watching. Best of all: there's already two more seasons on the way.

Catherine Reitman as Kate Foster

As well as serving as the creator, executive producer, and writer of the series, Catherine Reitman (who has made appearances in shows such as It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia, How I Met Your Mother, Weeds, and Blackish) stars as Kate Foster, a PR executive struggling to balance her career ambitions with her family obligations.

Dani Kind as Anne Carlson

Dani Kind, who makes guest appearances as Mercedes Gardner on SyFy's Wynonna Earp, plays Kate's best friend Anne Carlson, a ruthlessly honest psychiatrist who can't seem to connect with her 9-year-old daughter — or come to terms with the fact that she's pregnant with her third kid.

Juno Rinaldi as Frankie Coyne

Actress and writer Juno Rinaldi plays Frankie Coyne in her first major TV role, an eccentric real estate agent suffering from postpartum depression and longing for the attention of her wife, who is wholly devoted to their new daughter.

Jessalyn Wanlim as Jenny Matthews

Best known for playing Evie Cho in Orphan Black, Jessalyn Wanlim appears in the series as Jenny Matthews, an IT specialist newly back in the workforce who finds herself suddenly attracted to her new boss, despite the fact that she has a Chris Pratt-lookalike husband waiting for her at home with their baby girl.

Philip Sternberg as Nathan Foster

Kate's onscreen husband Nathan — a prominent immigration attorney who likes to think of himself of the breadwinner rather than Kate — is played by Reitman's real-life husband Philip Sternberg (who also serves as an executive producer).

Sarah McVie as Val Szalinsky

Newcomer Sarah McVie plays the unrelentingly positive leader of Toddler Time (the mommy group attended by Kate, Anne, Frankie, and Jenny) whose greatest wish is to befriend the other moms.

Katherine Barrell as Alicia Rutherford

Katherine Barrell, who appears alongside Kind in Wynonna Earp as Officer Nicole Haught, plays Alicia Rutherford, the obnoxious mom at Toddler Time who always seems to have it all together.
