Fitz Finds Out Olivia Helped Orchestrate Defiance

  • What goes down: Before Fitz becomes president, Olivia, Mellie, Verna Thornton, Cyrus, and Hollis Doyle get together and rig the election by tampering with the voting machines in Defiance, OH, helping Fitz win by a narrow margin. Even worse? Fitz has no idea. When he finally finds out the truth about what Olivia did, it breaks him. "I trusted you, you know," he tells her over the phone. "You ruined me. I'm ruined."
